We decided to start the day off that we would just do the Rim Trail, which overlooks the Amphitheater in Bryce Canyon. The trails below looked amazing. At this point Ben was in need of some caffeine. We ventured over to the lodge and grabbed some breakfast and coffee to-go. Ben bought me French Toast and he had an omelet. When he was inside the lodge, he inquired about some of the accommodations at the park.
We ended up renting one of the cabins inside of Bryce Canyon. This was a great decision. Bryce Canyon was so quiet in comparison to Zion. The cabins were built in 1925. There was no air conditioning, no wi-fi, and no tv, which all seemed to work out quite nicely and allow for a very pleasant stay. After checking into the cabin, we were now able to spend a full day and night enjoying the surroundings. This is one of the darkest places on on Earth, making it perfect for star gazing.
Now that we had time to explore the hoodoos and the canyon, we decided to hike Queens Garden Trail and a portion of Navajo Loop, which is a great hike 2.9 mile loop and highly recommend. It is easier if you have appropriate hiking shoes. I had my adventure shoes on, Ben did not. There were sections where we were a bit more careful!

This hike kicked my butt near the end, due to the heat and altitude. Nothing a little water and break couldn't fix. There were hikers of all ages and this hike is considered moderate.
